My love for the mountains of Colorado fuels my life and my artwork.  I have been fascinated with ceramic craftsmanship for 35 years, experimenting with form, function, material, and process.  I am currently fascinated with thrown pieces and the organic form.

My reduction-fired stoneware vessels are unique pieces symbolically holding both the ordinary and the precious moments of our lives. While a variety of ceramic techniques are applied, my pieces are formed primarily on the potters wheel. I began my ceramic journey in the Art Department at New Mexico State University, Las Cruces, NM in 1974 while studying for a degree in Biology. In intervening years, accomplished potters influenced me in a variety of educational settings while living in Oregon, Idaho, Colorado and New Mexico.
